Happy Sunday.

I am currently hidden away at my elder sisters county home. It is wonderful sitting here writing with the view of fields and sunshine. I always have a battle of City Vs the Country. I am a country girl at heart I think but I also love London. Also not sure how Musings from a London Mum that moved to the country works out.

We escaped from London yesterday after last week which ended in my crying over spilt milk. Sometimes you just need a break I think. Change is as good as a rest. Last week was so busy for me. I think I am over reaching a little trying to style Shoots, People and work for my editorial clients too. Its so hard to have a balance as a working mother I am constantly pushing boundaries and over stretching my resources to try and make it all work.

I am just super happy that all I have is half term ahead of me to try and be a little calmer and be with my little loves Rose Bay & Marvellous Martha.

So after my super busy week here is what I snapped for you all on my Style Radar.

Super Stripes

My new favourite Skirt & Jumper Combo. I know I have already blogged this look, but I love it. I cannot wait to go stripe-tastic in the spring and double up with a boxy striped top with it.

Martha Jumper, £49.95, White Stuff.

Striped Skirt, £49.95, White Stuff.

My New Favourite High street Store

I spotted these amazing pieces at the Next S/S 15 Press day. It’s on my one to watch for the girls Spring Wardrobe. I love the graphic prints and boho dresses too.

Staying with the stripe theme, This would make a super chic option for a City wedding I have this Summer with a tan block heel. Also from Next.

A New Place for Cocktails with my Girlfriends

I also visited the Ham Yard Hotel for the first time. I love this super chic space tucked away in The West End. Its my next to visit list, maybe I’ll take Mr B for our next evening out.

Super Sunnies

I was gifted these wonderful sunglasses from…..Next. I am in love. They feel just as lovely as a Celine Pair I have in black but I don’t have the fear out and about with them as they are half the price.

Sunglasses, £45, Next.

Location House Love

I shot in the most beautiful location house. It was very Great Gatsby and gave me a few ideas for my own home. I took lots more pictures so I will do a little post on this later with this week with a get the look special. I am super impressed with the High street for interiors this season, you can defiantly get the look on less if you are clever about it.

Snap Shots from my Shoots

My love affair with the super flat continues. Jimmy Choo’s Attila flats are becoming a favourite to call in for shoots. It may be time for me to practise what I preach and buy a pair for myself, but what colour?

Gold Flats, £395, Jimmy Choo.

Snake Flats, £450, Jimmy Choo.

Canvas Flats, Summer Collection, Jimmy Choo.

Red Patent Flats, £195, L.K. Bennett.

I also love a super pump. So here was what is a little edit from my selection.

1. These super sweet palm print mules are by Jerome Dreyfuss. There are from next seasons collection so not available yet, but i would check out the collection online. I am also a huge fan of his bags, the suede tassel ones are a nod to the 70s trend for Spring.

2. Biondi Castana is always a dream shoe. These silver cage sandals would be a perfect addition to anyones wardrobe. A metallic heel is so versatile and go add a touch of glamour to a simple dress for a weeding or a bit of sass to a jeans and white shirt for a drinks party. I know these are little on the expensive side but they would be a brilliant addition to your shoe collection.

Lana shoe, £495, Biondi Castana

3. Hello Little Miss High street. OK so they are not all super expensive. I love these Carrie-esque pumps and the wonderfully purse friendly price tag.

Evelyn Pump, £75, Miss KG.

The Perfect Spring Stripe

I have featured this on my Style Radar before and used to it style one of my clients. I love it, and will be snapping it up as soon as it hits the stores.

Scuba Stripe Dress, £44.95, Gap.

Dream a little Dream

I used a little vintage on one of my shoot too this week and feel in love with this wonderful lace jacket which I snapped of for £50. It’s totally dreamy and I can’t wait to add a little prettiness to boyfriend jeans and dungarees this Summer. If you are ever in North London I suggest you visit this wonderful shop Painted Black. Amelie who owns and buys all the stock has such a wonderful eye for some incredible pieces as brilliant prices too. Most of my trophy jackets are from these. They have a brilliant secretion of coveted Levi 501s which are going to be huge this Spring.

So my Style Radar done.
