So the Sun really did shine in London this weekend. It truly felt like Spring had arrived.
How does your Garden Grow?
The newest additions to the Bradley home are growing really well. Rose Bay loves watering her little seedlings. So hoping we can make our vegetables this year.
My love for Brodarie Anglaise.
The first sign of Spring and out comes the Brodarie Anglaise. This wonderful example is from The White Company. Nothing makes me happier than a pretty white top and a ripped skinny.
This wonderful top is from the Summer Collection at The White Company. So this is a little preview for you. It is on my Summer Shopping list.
Then we headed East to go to The Olympic Village. It is so brilliant with little ones and totally free. Hurray for Frugal activities in London with children.
I love going East, it always feels a little bit like New York in the Sunshine. We had the most wonderful breakfast at The Hackney Pearl. I would totally recommend it. The brunch menu is amazing and it is a stones throw from the bridge over to the village. Parking is free at the weekends too.
Rose Bay managed to find a tiny piece of art on our way to the village. I love little bits of street art, and seem to be seeing it everywhere we go at the moment.
So it really is a stones throw from The Hackney Pearl. Just ask the super friendly waiters and off you go.
Not your average Playground
We followed the directions to the Tumbling Playground, which is so brilliant. A super sized sandpit, giant treehouse and the Olympic Rings awaited us. It was wonderful to watch the girls run freely around. I would recommend taking bikes & scooters and it is amazing to watch them scoot around without the fear of any traffic.
Sunday was a but busier as we did some photos for two projects I am working on for Musings. Although we did have a lazy morning in Rose Bay’s room. I love being in her room it so bright and really functions as a playroom in our home.
Her reading corner is one of the sunniest spots in the house, and I often head up there to work when Marvellous Martha has her lunchtime nap.
I did a little sunshine mani for the shoot, I love this Daffodil yellow colour from Next’s new make up range.
I loved being photographed with my little women today, quiet apt as it it International Women’s day. Having two wonderful daughters I am always thinking about ways to empower my little loves. I want to teach them that anything is possible as long as it makes you happy. They can be at home with their families or be astro scientists I really don’t care as long as they are happy with the path they choose. Because it is a choice for us and amen to that.
So Happy International Women’s day to you all too, raise a glass to us all.
