Time for a shoe update for your little ones. We have been putting away our winter boots and getting ready to spring forward.

I always buy the girls a Spring Ballet pump as they are so useful to go with pretty dresses and look super cute with a roll up trousers and one of their peasant tops. There is such a great selection of them out on there.

Leather Mary Janes, from £24, Marks and Spencer.

I was kindly sent a pair each for the girls from the walk mates range at Marks and Spencer, which I have always brought for the girls. They have been endorsed by the College of Podiatry and have a a new way of making sure they fit your little ones called fit check – a removable insole which allows parents to easily check if the shoe still fits. Genius. We are think these little silver star cut outs are perfect. Rose Bay will love wearing them to school to start her first Summer term and I will feel happy knowing they will be totally supportive and durable for running around and attempting to get better at the Monkey bars. Her current obsession as all the girls play on them at break times. We have been doing intensive training so she can join in.

I didn’t just want to flag up one wonderful pair of Spring Ballet flats for you though as I so appreciate you taking a look at Musings, so here is a little edit of my top 5.

3. Coral Cut Out Flats, £65, Young Soul.
