Hurray the weekend it here. It has been such a busy week. We celebrated the brilliant of Push PR with a Bazaar showcase and invited lots of wonderful people along. Such a great success but am ready for a bit of R & R.
So I wanted to share some weekend ideas with you all and show you what a typical weekend with the Bradley bunch is all about.
We spend a lot of time milling around our neighbourhood Crouch End. Which I never want to leave. It has the perfect mix of slightly mad, creative and most importantly happy people. I am never at a lost end here, and have so many emotional connections to it. The Haberdashery is one of those places. I spend a lot of time here with Rose Bay as a baby just nursing a cappuccino trying to make it last all afternoon as most of the time I didn’t really have a clue what to do on maternity leave.
So we always visit for brunch. Mr B is a high fan of the English Breakfast which is such a good portion he shares it with Rose Bay. Brilliant for your little loves the first babycinnos are on the house.
It is so beautifully decorated with old fixtures and fittings of a haberdashery. The girls always have their eyes on the prize of the traditional sweets.
Tea cups galore.
Another place we always stop by on a Saturday morning jaunt is Niddle Noddle. It is my dream shop for the girls wardrobes and a perfect place to pick up presents for the million parties the girls go to. Its a brilliant edit of brands that really show what childhood is all about.
There is always something going on in Crouch End. Last week there was a free scone tasting session which the girls and Mr B took a real shine to. It was for a new cafe that is opening up called Ediths which I cannot wait to see what it is all about.
The girls love running around the Old town hall which is the most beautiful 1920s building, which rumour has it is being developed into flats. Such a shame, we really need to protect these beautiful moments of our history.
A walk through the park picking up leaves to paint.
Now you see us.
Now you don’t.
Her favourite mode of transport, Mr B.
Then on Sunday we went to the most Marvellous brunch hosted by Indytute Kids. It was held at the Proud Archivist a beautiful restaurant just on the canal. I love exploring new areas on the weekend. London is just so amazing, every weekend I find new places I haven’t been and feel so lucky to live here.
The girls were instantly drawn to the colouring in wall by Lizzie Mary Cullen. You can buy wallpaper rolls of this from Graham and Brown which I think would be amazing in a playroom. Oh I dream of a playroom and a lada. One day.
The idea of the Indytute brunch is that the children sit and watch a screening of a movie with a sing along and you get to read the papers. which were all so beautifully laid out for us. Total Bliss. Such a clever idea and so brilliant to get you to go and do something different on Sunday mornings.
So worth a look, there is a brilliant event for Halloween. Any Half term ideas are always welcome.
Have a brilliant weekend what ever you do,
London Mum x
