Oh those Newborn days. I love brand new babies and am constantly broody. Just everything about it, I feel so blessed to have experienced it twice with my little loves. Although goodness it is hard work, so to all you new mamas just keep going. It will get so much easier. The worry, anxiety, sleepless nights and tiredness all subsides around 12 weeks then the fun starts! Lovely coffees with friends, picnics in the parks with your NCT crowds, smiling at the commuters waiting in the busy queue knowing you will be safely milling around with your little colleague. I promise it really does get better.
So when I had my little loves I was obsessed with everything looking lovely. The pram, the baby bag, the teething toys. I somehow felt that if my baby stuff looked pulled together perhaps I was! So silly, but I was and am so proud to be a Mother and loved everything that went with it at the new baby stage.
When the super talented and lovely team from Marloe London emailed me with their beautiful Muslins I was hooked. Muslins were a big thing for me. The perfect cover up when your little one is snoozing, or an impromptu play blanket at a grotty play centre ( we went to so many looking for new friends) a breastfeeding cover up the uses are endless. I still have my huge Muslins from when the girls were little and refuse to give them away.
So what about a Muslin that becomes a beautiful personalised keepsake that you can wear long after your little one no longer needs one. A perfect idea, so meet Marloe London.
These Muslins are beautiful. They use innovative fabrics, embroidery and traditional British dyeing and dip dyeing. They can also be personalised. Oh I almost want a new baby again. Well actually I always want another baby, but that is another story. Never say never.
The dip dyed are my favourite styles. I just love the way the clever team at Marloe have photographed them.

Oh, I totally forgot about swaddling with a muslin. Swaddling Rose Bay was such a little miracle cure. Is there anything better than a swaddled baby? These would be the perfect addition to your hospital bag. There is something so lovely about these Muslins to be there from the beginning of your journey as a Mother and to still be able to wear them as a scarf when your little baby it a little girl is even lovelier.
They also have a personalised service so make beautiful gifts too.
Well Done Marloe London, for such a brilliant idea. You have made me most broody. Watch out Mr B.
To all you lovely new Mothers out there, just remember that is it all a phase and will pass. Those not so great days, or endless nights or nappy dramas at a super posh restaurant they all just become memories of such a wonderful time in your life. I am sure you are all doing an amazing job, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. It does go so quickly that it is lovely to just drink it all in. You made and are raising a little person so pat yourself on the back and remember that the only thing that your baby needs it you.
Happy Swaddling in style,
London Mum x
