Brodie School Shoes, £49.99, Trotters.
When I was little we always wore classic Russell & Bromley penny loafers. I so remember towards the end of the Summer holidays being taken to the store, measured and my mother putting pennies in the my shoes for luck. They were and still are a classic shoe.
Trotters is a classic childrens shoe shop. Designed with children in mind, the girls always know what to expect. The staff are kind, efficient and super quick at working out what you are looking for. As any parent will tell you time is never a friend when shopping with two small people.
They stock lots of the classic brands but I really like their in-house range Hampton Classic. Just really well made solid shoes. The girls are on their third pair and I know I can trust their feet to feel supported whilst they grow. I think the tradition of classic well fitted shoes has been passed on from my mother.
Trotters is also a great place to stock up on Ballet essentials. beautiful hair bows, School essentials and even get their hair cut. It is such a one stop store to get fully stocked up and organised with the kindest store assistants. I cannot recommend it enough for children and happy feet.
So step to it.
